"The battle remains uncertain but forge ahead."
I am a PhD student in International Relations at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, focusing on the challenges emanating from pandemic and conflict in Africa: The case of South Africa. My Master's degree research was titled "Pursuit of Ubuntu? Exploring South African role in DR Congo: The case of Force Intervention Brigade".
My work and leadership experience includes Assistant Coordinator (Independent Electoral Commission), Academic Facilitator (North-West University), Administration Intern (Rural Development and Land Reform), Public Relations Officer (Golden Key Mahikeng Chapter) and Entertainment Officer (South African Students Committee in Hungary).
Studying abroad remains a thrilling experience because of many unexpected challenges. However, it is an experience I believe every individual should start to aim for. International studies give a platform to expand one's world view by discovering a multicultural environment. It remains important to note that every nation has its educational system, making it possible to see the new side of my speciality. Studying abroad was made possible by the Department of Higher Education and Training (South Africa) and Hungarian education initiatives. I remain grateful.
